Keepme Bags’ has £2,000 charity target The company’s ‘Race to Print 200,000 Cotton

anuary 6th marks the official launch of Keepme Bags’ bid to raise an ambitious £2,000 for charity.

Bags’ fundraising initiative will see a 1p donation made for each Long Handled Natural Cotton Bag sold, at what will be heavily discounted prices. These discounted prices will be kept a secret

until the day of launch and then the race will be on to raise the chequered flag in celebration of the 200,000th bag coming off the carousels. A single customer ordering the highest

number of bags that help to meet the print target will then be invited to select a charity of their choice, to which the donation will be made

on their behalf courtesy of the Keepme management. Commercial director Steve Anderson said: “We felt that having enjoyed such a good year

throughout 2013 we should give something back. We can’t wait to press the green light in January and are thoroughly looking forward to donating some funds that we hope will make a difference to what’s sure to be a worthwhile cause.” Customers are advised to keep a close eye

on their emails and Keepme’s Facebook page to ensure they are in pole position on January

6th when the new prices are released. n For more information visit www.keepmebags.com

costly printers. Reaching 1800x1800 dpi resolution and a variable dot with a minimum size of 4 picolitres, it guarantees smoother gradations. Quality can also be

enhanced with the application of glossy or matte finish clear ink, and multi-layered print can be achieved by overprinting an area several times. The UJF- 3042 desktop flatbed printer has a print area of 300x420mm, while the larger UFJ-6042 handles sizes up to

rint technology specialist i-Sub Digital has officially launched its exclusive

Digi-Foil digital foiling system. Using a Mimaki UJF desktop

printer, foil and a heated applicator, packaging manufacturers can produce colour-accurate mock-ups, short runs and one-offs for proofing in just five to ten minutes – a groundbreaking reduction in time. With no need to prepare

traditional dies and foil presses, clients are potentially able to see a variety of different options at the very first stage, meaning packaging businesses can receive same-day sign-offs of new designs. The system also significantly

cuts waste by allowing foil to be applied only in required areas – as small as 4pt text or a dot size of 0.3mm. Metallic, holographic, multi-coloured, opaque, patterned and foil embossed effects are all possible as a primary design or as an eye-catching accent,

or even as a security marking. n For more information email info@i-subdigital.com or call 01536 415511.
