A number of stunning vessels will make their debut at the London Boat Show in January

its V48 open sports boat for the first time at the show, which will host around 1,000 vessels in all. Te V48 will be presented amongst a collection of 10 motor yachts from the Plymouth-based boat builder, including the new 88 Motor Yacht and Princess 43, which are also both appearing at London for the first time, together with the Princess 56, 64, 72 Motor Yachts, the


oat enthusiasts will not have to wait long in to the New Year to cast their eye over some of the latest models to have been released by


82 Motor Yacht ‘flybridge’ models and the Princess V39, V52 and V57 Sports Yachts. Princess will also be revealing further


information about its eagerly anticipated S Class. Te new S72 will be the first Princess based around the new ‘Sportsbridge’ concept and will be the first S Class yacht to be unveiled to the public in 2014. Te V48 Open provides accommodation for up to six guests, with two large en-suite cabins including a full beam owner’s stateroom and a forward guest cabin, which can be specified with an optional ‘scissor berth’ system to create double or twin beds as required. Te generous saloon seating can be converted to provide additional sleeping space for occasional guests. Te launch of the highly anticipated Targa 48 GT will also be among the highlights of the show. Te model features a glazed electric hard top roof with a spacious upper deck, J-shaped cockpit seating with table and optional sunbed conversion. Te saloon offers plentiful seating, in addition to a well- appointed helm station with twin seats. Te lower deck has three cabins as standard and there is an optional lower saloon/dinette in lieu of the third cabin layout. In addition to the Targa 48 GT, manufacturers Fairline will be exhibiting 10 of its luxury motor yachts at its show stand. Fairline’s concept room will display a 30 ft concept model and video projections of

potential future projects. Oliver Winbolt, Head of Marketing at Fairline Boats, commented: “Te London Boat Show is a key event for Fairline and one which we really enjoy exhibiting at. Tis coming January we’ll be looking to build on the success we’ve seen at the Southampton Boat Show and look forward to unveiling the new Targa 48 GT to Fairline customers and visitors to the show.” At the time of going to press, around 30 debut boats had been scheduled to appear at the show, which will feature everything from large motor yachts to canoes and kayaks.
