Pay attention to the clarity of your skin. Using one drop of YSL Forever Light Creator Serum each morning will help improve your skin tone and natural radiance.
Avoid morning pallor and erase signs of fatigue by hydrating and brightening your eye area. Apply an eye serum such as YSL Forever Youth Liberator and then glide over a little Touché Éclat. Blend Touche Éclat under the eye, focusing on the inner corner, and over the eyelid blending outwards. For a more natural result, leave a millimetre along the lash line free of texture.
Keep your skin fresh and natural with a dab of colour on the cheeks, blending your blush downwards to obtain a more natural look. To reduce the appearance of puffi ness around eyes, I also apply blusher higher on the upper part of the cheekbone, blending softly over the area where the puffi ness begins.
Perfect your smoky eye by blending a gold eye shadow colour up towards the eye socket, blending the edge with a long blending brush. Applying Touche Éclat is the fi rst step to achieving the perfect smoky eye, as it acts like a primer and holds your eye shadow in place so it stays put all day.
Defi ne your eyes in two movements with a black liquid liner: With your fi rst stroke, aim towards the centre of the lid. Next sharpen your ‘fl ick’ by lightly applying a little Touché Éclat as if an eraser on top and underneath.
For the ultimate false lash eff ect and to make eyes appear brighter, I like to use a deep coloured mascara in the opposite tone to the iris. For green eyes, I use plum, for blue eyes a deep black or grey, for brown eyes, navy blue.

To accentuate the defi nition of your lips, I recommend rubbing your upper lip with your lower teeth before application in order to increase blood circulation around the Cupid’s bow. Before lipstick application, I also apply a touch of Touche Éclat in a fi ne line around the lips with a precise liner brush to defi ne, contour and prevent lipstick from smudging. Enhance your lips with a statement colour such as a classic red, like YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Rouge 1. For a super smooth lipstick fi nish, I like to mix lipsticks (of any texture) with a little loose powder on the back of my hand.
Finally, don’t forget your nails to compliment your party look! Colour clash is very on trend, so don’t be afraid of experimenting with diff erent lip and nail combinations!
