ST. REGIS MAURITIUS Grand Opening St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, proudly celebrated the official opening of Te St. Regis Mauritius Resort, marking the brand’s first hotel in Africa and the 30th St. Regis hotel in the world. Te official opening ceremony was inaugurated by the Prime Minsiter of Mauritius, Dr Te Hon Navinchandra Ramgoolam in the presence of Mr. Ashok Uttamchandani and Mr. Ashish Nurani, owners of Te St. Regis Mauritius Resort, Mr. Frits van Paasschen, President and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Hassan Ahdab, Vice President Africa and Indian Ocean and Mr. Bernard de Villèle, General Manager. Te celebration was attended by more than 350 influential hospitality figures and guests from Mauritius.
Boodles Stylish jewellers Boodles hosted a glitzy party to celebrate the launch of the much anticipated Philip Armstrong Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. Philip Armstrong and Tony Burke presented their new season’s collection at Boodles flagship Liverpool store in North John Street to see some of the stunning new pieces in the eagerly anticipated collection.
