that the assays are highly accurate and reproducible: internal coefficient of variation (CV) for the Aβ40 and Aβ42 assays are 1.7-3.1 per cent, and 4.18-5.76 per cent, respectively. Intra-assay CVs are computed as 1.9-5.6 per cent for Aβ40 and 5.36-6.12 per cent for Aβ42 kits.


Sensitivity of the kits is high, with a LOD of 2pg/ml for both Aβ40 and Aβ42 assays, as defined by an average of negative control reading plus three standard deviations.


Te SensoLyte anti-human β-Amyloid (1-42) Quantitative ELISA kit is perfectly suited for the screening of Aβ42 aggregation inhibitors.


Tis new assay offers very high performances even when low pico-molar quantities of Aβ peptides are studied. Tis is particularly relevant to in vivo events where Tioflavin T assay may not be sensitive enough.


Since Aβ aggregation is essential to the pathogenesis of AD, the use of this new anti-human Aβ (1-42) ELISA kit to search for compounds that interrupt aggregation and hence protect against the neurotoxicity of the Aβ42 fragment is of great interest. Tese new SensoLyte anti-human β-Amyloid (1-40)
