ettled amongst crystal waters, golden sands and remote peacefulness comes the destination of dreams, Per Aquum’s Niyama Resort in the Maldives. An

oasis of sophisticated charm, this wonderful holiday venture guarantees luxury and culture. Opened just over a year ago this brand new resort boasts beautiful blue shores and eight different categories of accommodation to suit every need. Not to mention the unique underwater club Subsix which has housed many DJ’s over the past year and was visited by rapper Tinie Tempah during its opening. Recently my partner and I visited this

tropical paradise to enjoy an experience of a lifetime. On our arrival we were met by our airport host Hannah and were escorted to the Niyama private lounge. Te air conditioning and refreshments came as a relief and were truly welcomed after our tiring journey. A sugary path of sand and welcoming steps led us up to our accommodation at number 47 which was to be our home for the next few days of pure paradise. Double doors hid a fabulous outdoor garden and open air bathroom with an oval stove deep bath. Alongside this was a garden rain shower with

stepping stones leading over small blue pools to our own personal waterfall. For convenience nothing has been overlooked as studios are also equipped with American style fridges with dine in deli available for midnight snacks as well as wines and champagne. Entering the studio we were greeted by an

oversized double bed with floor to ceiling patio sliding doors overlooking the lagoon. Te patio area inhabited two private sun loungers, a swinging day bed with soft white cushions and a table and chairs for romantic evening dining. We settled into our surroundings with ease and spent our first evening sitting by the infinity pool with cocktails and a delicious dinner for two at the Epicure Restaurant. It is here where
