Boodles Jewellery At RED 2 Premiere British acting royalty, Dame Helen Mirren dazzled in regal fine jewellery by the British brand Boodles on the red carpet at the premiere of RED 2 in London’s Leicester Square. Appropriate for the occasion, Dame Helen dressed in a sparkling red Jenny Packham dress and high value pieces from Boodles Vintage Lace collection, including an exquisite ruby and diamond Vintage Lace collar, matching earrings and white diamond Ashoka bracelet and ring. “At Boodles, we are great supporters of film and the arts. Therefore we are delighted to see our beautiful designs worn by Dame Helen Mirren, one of Britain’s finest leading ladies,” said James Amos, Director of Boodles.
PAMPERED LADIES AT METQUARTER Almost 200 ladies attended an exclusive VIP event – Get Pampered – at the Metquarter in Liverpool City Centre in August. Te invite-only event included complimentary manicures, massages and skin mapping from Urban Calm,
makeovers from Illamasqua and hand and arm massages at Jo Malone. Special discounts were also available on the night. Celebrity stylist Martine Alexander was on hand with style advice and personal shopping and underwear brand Freya offered underwear consultations. Centre Manager Jennina O’Neill said: “We wanted to host a post-work pampering
event for the ladies in the city, to give them the opportunity to try out some new treatments and pick up some bargains too! We were thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback
from everyone.” Ladies from local organisations who attended, included Liverpool Museum, Malmaison, Tate Liverpool, Tatty Lashes, Te Lantern Teatre, FCA Architects and many more. Attendees were also treated to champagne, canapés and cakes. Local DJ Namina provided the soundtrack to the evening.
Marco’s NY Italian garden party Children and staff from Claire House Children’s Hospice were among the VIPs who attended a special lunch event hosted by renowned chef, Marco Pierre White, at his restaurant, Marco’s New York Italian, in Hoylake. Te occasion also marked Marco’s first visit to the restaurant since its recent rebrand. Guests were treated to a delicious menu of Italian/American classics, put together by Marco himself especially for the occasion. Marco, who is a patron of Claire House, visited the hospice earlier in the day before welcoming back some of the children, their families, and carers to the restaurant for a sumptuous three-course treat. Te event also provided locals the unique opportunity to dine with Marco and experience his new-look restaurant first-hand. Guests also received a signed apron, and a glass of sparkling Prosecco on arrival.
