Tournament Harvey Nichols Manchester was delighted to sponsor the prestigious Ladies Day event at the first Newhall Cup Polo Tournament in Cheshire. Te exclusive equestrian event hosted in the grounds of Knutsford property developer, Andrew Irlam’s Newhall estate, saw hundreds of budding polo enthusiasts gather to watch players complete for the first ever ‘Newhall Cup’. Cheshire’s glitterati turned out in force for a day of equestrian entertainment with familiar faces such as Leanne Brown, Jude Cisse and Chantelle Tagoe enjoying the frivolities and shopping at the Harvey Nichols pop-up beauty and accessories boutiques. Guests were treated to a complimentary gift bag packed full of luxuries from beauty brand ‘bareMinerals’ as well as the chance to win a Harvey Nichols beauty hamper worth £250, amongst other impressive items, during a live auction raising funds for ‘Boot out Breast Cancer’ and ‘Destination Florida’.
Former Team-mates Celebrate With Jan Molby Liverpool Legend, and Chairman of the Liverpool Former Players Association Jan Molby, celebrated his 50th Birthday recently with a party for family and friends at GUSTO Restaurant and Bar in Telegraph Road, Heswall. Guests were treated to a sumptuous three course dinner with fine wines and former X Factor finalist Chris Maloney entertained everyone with a superb upbeat party set, before musician Tricia McTeague took over with a fantastic floor-filling set of party songs. Former team-mates Alan Kennedy, Michael Tomas, John Durnin and John Barnes joined Jan to celebrate his milestone and the celebrations had a patriotic feel with Danish Flags decorating the venue and even the desert.
