No, it’s not another horsemeat scandal, just some Michelin-starred chefs fooling around for charity

our award-winning South West chefs will be cantering across to Tetbury’s Beaufort Polo Club on 8 September,


there to host the fourth annual Hospitality Action polo day. And quite a line-up it is too: there’s Martin Burge of Whatley Manor, Mike Benjamin from Calcot Manor, Hywel Jones of Lucknam Park and Sam Moody from The Bath Priory, all joining culinary forces to whip up a three-course lunch in support of the charity, which helps those in the hospitality industry who’ve fallen on hard times.

The event will kick off with a Champagne reception on the lawns of the club, followed by the hotly anticipated lunch, designed and prepped by the chefs themselves. Then it’s over to the reserved seating in the grandstand for the final of the Solitaire Salver, before polishing off the day with a traditional cream tea. “Last year’s event was a fantastic
