Educate and motivate in inspiring new spaces
Whether it’s facilitating connections at a trade show, designing motivating classroom set- tings for an educational conference, or inspir- ing attendees at a sales meeting, planners all need the same thing — a flexible venue that sets the stage for innovation. The No. 1 con- vention and trade-show facility in Canada — the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)
— is the works-every-time solution. Factor in the center’s recently upgraded spaces and infrastructure along with $2 billion in new downtown developments, and it’s never been a better time to meet in Toronto. Natural light, modern amenities, and flex-
ible configurations are at the top of every planner’s wish list when it comes to meet- ing space, so planners will love the MTCC’s two newest meeting rooms — Terrace View and Park View. Designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, dedicated prefunction space, and en-suite restrooms, the rooms — totaling 10,000 square feet — set the bar for comfort- able yet energizing meeting space. In addi- tion to 66 total meeting rooms, the facility offers 460,000 square feet of total exhibit space, two multipurpose ballrooms total- ing 78,000 square feet, and the 1,332-seat John Bassett Theatre, which offers superior acoustics and audiovisual amenities for busi- ness presentations and corporate events of every kind. Another meeting must — fast, reliable Wi-Fi — can be checked off as well. Last year, the MTCC announced that com- plimentary Wi-Fi access is now available to all attendees. The new feature is just one of many technological upgrades the facility has made recently, including an improved net- work infrastructure. When attendees venture outside after
a long day of meetings, a multitude of new attractions, hotels, and transit options will
