CREATIVE CONTRIBUTION - AUDIO SIDE
DAVID HOUSDEN Thomas Was Alone
Minimalist music from rising composer David Housden gives Thomas Was Alonean enchanting feel, and makes it all the easier to lose yourself in the game’s gentile platforming grandeur. Housden’s smooth composition has been as equally well received by players as the game’s narration by comedian Danny Wallace.
HIGH SCORE PRODUCTIONS Harry Potter Kinect
Matching the English voices to the Warner Bros film tie-in game was a challenge for High Score, but it had an excellent response in spite of the budget and the lack of availability of any of the film’s actors. High Score managed to carefully cast impersonators who matched the film actors.
SAVALAS SOUND Halo 4: Spartan Ops
Savalas Sound brought decades of experience in feature film sound to its work on Halo 4: Spartan Ops, which took a year to complete, including Foley performance, ADR, custom sound design and more, which all came together in a spectacular way.
SIDE Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Side’s collaboration with Level-5 on the western release of Ni no Kuni brought a Metacritic score of 86, and a surprise number one. A major part of that success was down to the audio localisation handled by Side. It managed the full voice production, which included recording 242 characters.
