1) The seven miles of sandy beach that borders our park have been bringing tourists to Old Orchard Beach for over a century. It is one of the main beaches closest to Canada, and it has kept many families from Montreal and Quebec coming here for generations. Long may it continue!
2) Our Grand Orient Fun House is one of only two Reverchon Fun Houses in North America. It is one of the more unique attractions in the park and a favourite for the young and young at heart.
3) We purchased three rides last season, including a brand new Wisdom Avalanche/Moby Dick [Miami] that we named Riptide and decorated with vinyl wrap.We also had the entire trailer galvanised to protect against the ocean environment. The beach is our best friend, but can also be the worst enemy when it comes to maintaining equipment.
4) There is a train station and the Amtrak trains come in from Boston, bringing many people from the city who are looking to come up to the beach for the day or a weekend. The trains run regularly through the summer and then the service stops through the winter.
5) This building houses Maine’s largest arcade, complete with video games, pinball, crane machines, as well as 16 full length lanes of Skee-ball, a necessity for any beachfront arcade.
