Coming soon will be a further two rollercoasters including Deep Space, a coaster in the dark by Premier Rides, and Nitro, India’s first ever B&M rollercoaster (featuring floorless trains). Also on its way, guests will soon be able to walk through a haunted fortress in Curse of Salimgarh.
Coaster Cuisine Four restaurants promise families food styles from all over the world, including the Roberto’s Food Coaster outlet, featuring the same fun food delivery system as FoodLoop at Europa-Park in Germany. Live entertainment includes the stage shows Focus to Fly, Blow Your Trouble Away With Neera and the nightly laser spectacular Electric Enigma. To help guests plan their visit, an online booking system developed by Galaxy Systems together with Indian e-commerce provider Inifbeam offers packages including tickets, transport, accommodation, food and beverage. An option on the park’s website allows potential visitors to piece together and share a dream itinerary with friends before they book. Many external ticket resellers, travel agents and hospitality partners are already on board and Adlabs Imagica now plans to spread word of the country’s first theme park to key markets including Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Delhi. “Adlabs Imagica has been extremely well received by the travel and trade fraternity,” explains Pooja Shetty Deora, joint managing director of Adlabs Entertainment. “As tour operators currently only sell packages for hotels, trains, buses or flights, the theme park comes as a welcome option for them sell to their customers. We are going to be inviting people from the trade for a familiarisation trip to the park to help them experience it and enable them to sell it better.” Adlabs Imagica forms part of a wider 300-acre entertainment destination that will eventually include a waterpark, a hotel and retail space. Open 365 days a year, annual park attendance is forecast at over 2 million guests. A second outlet is already reported to be under consideration in Hyderabad.
