ANPR InternationalWin Parking Technology Award 2013
The Parking Technology Award was presented to ANPR International Ltd after working with Gloucestershire County Council on a specialised survey project.

The British Parking Awards were launched in 2002 for recognition of excellence and achievement in the parking industry. Commenting on the win, ANPR International’s Technical Director Martyn Attwood said
Gloucestershire County Council discovered they had severe parking congestion in their towns due to receiving a high volume of complaints from the local residents. With this, ANPR International identified the issues using advanced Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) vans called streetSWEEPER, to enable a fast and effective zone based survey. The data achieved took a remarkable 5 weeks in comparison to the manual methods of 6-9 months. Thus, saving a significant amount on overheads and producing crucial data in a convenient time scale. Finally, with the flexibility of streetSWEEPER, there is no area
that cannot be covered so ANPR International can provide ANPR surveying for all clients.
