Cale BriParc to show high-powered compact machine at Parkex

T

hose attending Parkex who are looking for the latest and most functional and powerful pay and display machine could do no better than visit the Cale BriParc stand (211). Cale BriParc will be showing its most advanced machine – the Cale Web Terminal (CWT-C). The machine is absolutely loaded with functionality and features, which is why Cale believe the machine to be the world’s most advanced product of its type.

The features include: ■ Large backlit graphics capable display can show full tariff information.

The display is also capable of supporting languages such as Arabic, Urdu, Japanese etc.

■ Six programmable function buttons that have variable operations according to the current screen plate.

■ Full alphanumeric vehicle registration marking (VRM) input for local printing of the vehicle VRM on the pay and display ticket or where new generation parking models are being operated and the vend data (with VRM) needs to be exported to external applications. One such example would be the use of ANPR cameras for

enforcement purposes.

■ Parking rules capability, which can be configured for a number of applications. One such application would be to prevent a second purchase for the same VRM in a given time window (e.g. 2 hours).

■ The machines can network via the Cale WebOffice Service so that a number of machines can share the same data and employ a common parking rule. In addition, a daily free parking rule could be operated across a whole area. Once a VRM has been used to obtain a free 30 minute vend the same VRM cannot be used in a defined area (car park, town, borough, county, city).

■ Graphics capable printer, enabled to print items such as QR codes. ■ Flexible ticket printing so that different tariff packages can have different ticket lengths, layouts, text and graphics.

■ Multi-ticket issue – this function enables the machine to print several tickets against a single vend. One such application would be where operators need to provide a refund ticket. The multi-issue ticket function eliminates the need for ‘tear-offs’.

■ Online permit account – this provides a route for discounted or special parking fees for account holders. There is no need for any additional hardware.
