The APT Controls Group will be demonstrating how it is developing the very latest intelligent solutions with a key theme of ‘integration’. APT’s expertise embraces innovations and technological developments that address key urban issues in parking and parking management, electric vehicle (EV) charging, traffi c management and signage, and road safety systems to enable vehicles and people to move around freely, in a safe environment.

Athena ANPR Providing solutions to a variety of car park
management problems, including parking, access control and site security issues, Athena will showcase a new range of management schemes at Parkex 2013. ANPR systems include the latest PC-based CCTV/ANPR systems that recognise number plates from CCTV images. These are automatically stored in their databases with the corresponding time, date and location information. Athena will also be showcasing their self-ticketing system, where clients can personally issue a parking charge notice to a contravening vehicle. STAND P231

Audax Global Solutions First-time exhibitors, digital evidence technology developers, Audax, will be demonstrating their Body Worn Video Systems. Having been involved in the UK pilot for police use of head cameras in 2006, Audax have worked closely with police forces and the UK Home Offi ce to develop the eWitness System to enhance the gathering of primary evidence on site, at any incident. Also on display at stand P240 will be the AGS Stream – RS, a portable device designed to provide personal safety and security to police offi cers, fi refi ghters, paramedics, security guards, lone workers and others. The device offers visual point of view Multimedia streaming from the fi eld over the cellular 3G network.
