Acumentrics Increases Rugged UPS Power Output

Westwood, MA — Designed for world wide deployment in harsh physical and electrical environ- ments, Acumentrics’ Rugged-UPS™ ACG3000 offers clean AC or DC power to protect communications and surveillance equipment from shutdowns or data loss.

Rugged UPS. The Model ACG3000 produces

3000VA/2400W of nominal 115 VAC output from an input range of 80 VAC to 265 VAC / 47 Hz to 440Hz. This wide voltage and frequency tol- erance enables users to power-up with field generators in any interna- tional power standard to provide seamless active power-factor correc- tion and clean, reliable AC power. A true on-line, double conversion unin- terruptible power supply, the ACG3000 continually creates a pure sine wave AC output from a DC bus, protecting sensitive equipment from surges, spikes, brownouts, black- outs, and noise. DC output options are available. The unique Flo-thru™ heatsink

design provides maximum cooling while sealing components from the damaging effects of water, airborne particles, and other contaminants in the operating environment. Lithium- ion or low-maintenance, valve-regu- lated lead acid batteries are enclosed in a user replaceable battery pack for rapid, hot-swap field replacement. The Lithium-ion pack offers a lighter weight energy source with longer shelf life and cycle life. With a rated operating temper-

ature range of -18°C to +50°C (0°F - 122°F), the ACG3000 is the product of choice for high power in extreme environments. It also meets accepted military standards for electromag- netic interference (MIL-STD 461-F), shock (MIL-S-901-D), and vibration

(MIL-STD-810-G). Contact: Acumentrics Corpor -
