Schaefer Intros New Rack Mount Configurations for COTS/MOTS Power Converters

Hopkinton, MA — Schaefer, Inc., a manufacturer of highly reliable power conversion systems, an- nounces new 19 in. rack mount con- figurations for their Raptor Series of military power supplies. The Rap- tor’s robust construction and high re- liability make it an ideal choice for harsh military applications such as shelters, armored vehicles, avionics, naval and open air applications. The Raptor Series’ output volt-

age range can provide DC outputs from 12VDC to 52.5VDC, or 270VDC, with power ratings from 1200W to 3360W. Single- and three-phase input ranges span from 88 to 265VAC. Other input or output voltages are available upon request. The Series specifies high efficiency (85% nomi-

SEMS Screws Now on PCB Terminals

from Keystone Astoria, NY — By installing SEMS screws on their PCB screw termi- nals, Keystone Electronics has ex- panded the options for quick, secure and stable wire lead attachments, in- cluding bare wires. Rated at 15 to 30 A, these innovative screw terminals feature exclusive anti-rotation, non- rocking design making them ideal for high density packaging. In addition, the SEMS screw incorporates a capti- vated, free-spinning lock-washer to eliminate wire twisting upon tighten- ing terminals. SEMS screw units are available

in horizontal and vertical mounting configurations. Terminals are manu- factured from brass with tin-plated finishes and are supplied with SEMS installed and captivated on the ter- minals or unassembled. Additional details available in Keystone Catalog M-60.
