It is also focusable from 16° up to 49°, producing an even light field and crisp, clear shadow. The elimination of spread lenses speeds up the workflow on set and reduces the risk of lost production time due to glass breakage. It uses a new 9,000W lamp
developed by Osram to ARRI’s specification, very similar in size to the 6,000W lamp. This allows it to fit in a compact housing, close to the dimensions of the

The Lowel Prime Power LED Light collection includes 200, 400, and now the 800 models, each available in dedicated 5600K or 3300K versions, and are claimed to have both a brighter and wider beam output than similarly-priced

ARRISUN 60. Since the accompanying EB 6/9kW ballast uses the housing of the current EB 6000 Baby, and existing 6K head- to-ballast cables, the system is highly efficient and comes close to the light output of a traditional 12K PAR (with lens) within the dimensions of a 6K PAR system. The new EB 6/9kW uses Active Line Filter and Compensation for Cable Loss technology, to compensate for power losses in very long head-to-ballast cables. This new small ballast will also be available in a 1,000Hz version for high speed shooting with minimised flicker.
