UNITED KINGDOM TDMaverick celebrates 20th anniversary

DISTRIBUTOR TDMaverick is celebrating 20 years in business this year. The company, which started life with just six employees, now sells across 14 countries and has grown to include divisions of its own – Hotlamps and Vision. Jon Sidwick, director of

Europe, who has been with the business for 15 years, commented: “I can hardly believe Maverick is celebrating 20 years of selling to the channel. I have been with the business for most of that time and it’s been a great experience, watching the company grow and become the successful business it is today.

“The journey has been a

real rollercoaster ride with some massive highs and one or two challenging lows. During this time we have built many long-standing partnerships across all areas of the business.” Today, Maverick is the leading distributor for

Promethean in the UK and Ireland and has established its Vision brand of pro-audio products and accessories in a number of countries. It has also built a strong presence across Europe with Hotlamps, which focuses on delivering high-quality replacement projector lamps. Looking ahead, Sidwick

expects Maverick to build on its achievements and strong relationships. “The next few years look very exciting for Maverick. We are going to push ourselves hard to offer deeper levels of service, an expanded set of solutions and introduce the Maverick model across more countries.” www.tdmaverick.co.uk
