a software update, Elan g!6.2, which features support for inter- national weather forecasting, a host of new drivers, and back-end improvements to make it even easier for integrators to program and install.
Elan g!6.2 delivers a host of
new features, including support for true global weather forecasting
that will allow g! customers in every part of the world to access and display weather forecasts for their geographic area. In addition, the g!6.2 software will allow deal- ers to program specific automa- tion trigger events based on the local forecast, such as motorised window shutters and shades responding to temperature alerts. The update also provides sup- port for a host of new drivers,
showcasing its entire loudspeaker range, which includes the new high-end Series 5 model. Series 5 combines four high- performance low-frequency driv- ers and a new generation high-end tweeter which is said to provide exceptional power han- dling and excellent dispersion characteristics. The manufacturer claims that it offers a no-compro- mise solution for customers that want a high-end home theatre solution that integrates seamlessly into their home. Garvan’s product portfolio also

home control solution from Lutron is being shown controlling a variety of LED lamps on the company’s ISE stand. The system’s HVAC capabilities are also being highlighted through displays of its CoolMaster and KNX thermo- stats.
The HomeWorks QS system
includes expanded control func- tionality, wireless technology to operate window coverings via Lutron’s Clear Connect Radio Fre- quency technology, and the abil- ity to dim high-efficacy light sources.
Lutron is also drawing atten- tion to its EcoSystem light control system’s ability to deliver substan- tial energy savings. Comprising digitally addressable dimming ballasts, controls and environ- mental sensors, these components can provide installations with energy savings from 40% to 70%, according to Lutron. After years of providing seating to home cinema and upmarket conference room applications, Oray is now presenting its new range of armchairs, designed for home theatre. The company says the arm-
chairs provide a high level of comfort, a wide variety of finish options and high-quality manu- facturing. Each model is highly adjustable and installations can be custom made to create either a number of independent seats or a large sofa effect, with or without armrests. Oray has built its home the- atre seats for comfort and they are filled with Bultex quality foam. Each model is equipped with two motors: one for reclining the back rest and another one for the leg rest. The height of the headrest is also adjustable to fit every specta- tor size. Oray also offers additional customisable options including an iPod dock and back-lit control.
