FULL FLEX EXPRESS 2013

SKRILLEX AND FRIENDS REPEAT CROSS-CANADA TRAIN TOUR IN 2013

SKRILLEX recently announced that he will be rolling through Canada with some of his friends again next summer in the second edition of the Full Flex Express tour, initially inspired by the 1970 Festival Express rock tour headlined by The Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. The 2012 edition saw Skrillex in 6 Canadian cities, all of which are slated for a return visit next year with the exception of Ottawa, though the tour could get picked up by Ottawa’s Bluesfest as it did last year. Alberta’s stop also moves from Edmonton to Calgary this year. The inaugural tour included Diplo, Pretty Lights, Grimes, and recent Ultra records signee Tokimonsta, who we interviewed HERE. She shared some great experiences with the other artists on the train, hinting at a couple potential mega collaborations which may get released as a result of their long train rides together.

The latest information for 2013 indicates that tickets will be on sale until December 25, with artist and venue information being released in early January. No details have been leaked regarding supporting artists, but Moore will certainly bring along a couple acts from the OWSLA roster (maybe 2012 blow ups Dillon Francis, Seven Lions or Birdy Nam Nam) as well as some of his friends. While we wait patiently for more information on the 2013 edition of Full Flex, you can reminisce about last year’s shows with these photo albums.
