The LEDioc LED High Bay is the latest addition to EYE Lighting’s range of LED luminaires. Designed to replace a 400W metal halide high-bay, the 215W (average consumption 195W) unit offers a high lumen output of 24000lm, with a cool white colour temperature (5000K). This lightweight and durable unit is designed to efficiently dissipate heat away from the LEDs, and comes with a rated product life of 60000hrs.
Flex Connectors’ flex7 lighting connection and control System was recently installed over 6 floors at 4 Carlton Gardens, London. The system was designed by Stinton Jones Consulting Engineers LLP and installed by Contractor Langley Electrical of Harlow. Flex Connectors were selected for the project due to their user friendly design, quick installation time and the fact that they do not require any commissioning. The controls are programmed to monitor the levels of daylight in a room, and dim the lights down when natural light is sufficient. When the room is unoccupied lights will automatically switch off after a pre-set timeout. This ensures little unnecessary energy usage.

When it came to designing the lighting for their new offices, MID Lighting had no hesitation in installing their Flatline/36 modular LED panel. The Flatline/36 is only 11mm deep with an aluminium frame and can be supplied with a driver mounted on the back or remote. The driver is suitable for 1-10V dimming as standard but DALI dimming is also available. The Flatline/36 is ideal for exposed Tee ceilings and can be supplied in 3000K or 4800K. The notional corridors are lit with LED downlighters connected to PIR for energy saving.
