Robe Helps Light Teen Choice Awards

Panasonic Announce UK Launch of Halogen Type LED Bulb

The challenge of lighting the fast-paced, action-packed environment of this year’s Teen Choice Awards was taken on by Tom Kenny, and included some of Robe’s latest moving lights in the visual mix. Kenny studied the screen content for each live artist and evolved his basic lighting looks from this, producing a unique look and feel for each performance. “It’s all about keeping the energy pumping for the show,” he explains. Kenny utilised Robe’s new LEDBeam 100 for the first time, with 24 dotted around the front of the stage and set providing some dramatic reverse shot lighting. Eighty-two Robe LEDWash 600s were positioned around the frames of the video screens creating a stunning effect, while the 30 x MMX Spots were used as key and back lighting. 30 LEDWash 1200s were also positioned around the set.
