LuxLive Supplement

Why LuxLive?

We take a look at why this year’s LuxLive is written in people’s calendars across the industry.

Opening Times: Tuesday 6 November: 9:30am – 6pm Wednesday 7 November: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Set to take over London’s Earls Court on the 6th and 7th November, key players in the lighting industry have anticipated LuxLive 2012 ever since the show was first introduced to our calendars last year. Having impressed as a must-visit event during its launch show, LuxLive is already starting to be recognised as a great opportunity to see some of the biggest names in lighting all under one roof. With brands such as Philips, Osram

and Toshiba all conveniently located at the same exhibition, LuxLive is a perfect opportunity to get some of those burning questions answered by industry leaders. With one of its central focuses being the development of energy efficient lighting products, LuxLive will offer exhibitors the opportunity to present their take on how to create stunning lighting schemes whilst reducing your carbon footprint - and reducing energy bills as you do so. LuxLive is organised to suit the industry calendar, allowing visitors to explore the latest in lighting innovations right in the middle of the buying season. Over 150 brands will be exhibiting at LuxLive this November, with everything

from light fittings, smart controls and light sources on display. The show is about more than just great products, so energy efficient solutions are supported by seminars and debates on how to cut that carbon footprint down to size. The team at LuxLive have once again committed to putting together a great schedule of events, with over 50 hours of free sessions scheduled in four dedicated theatres. Discussions will include case studies from some amazing lighting projects, as well as practical solutions and updates on the latest lighting legislation. As with last year, there will be a number of decision makers at LuxLive 2012, and attention has been placed on ensuring that the environment is suitable for networking. By bringing together contractors, consulting engineers, designers, end users, distributors and specifiers, LuxLive 2012 will provide the chance to discuss all aspects of a project, and designated networking areas mean key decisions can be discussed right there in Earls Court - an excellent opportunity at an ideal time of year.
