A recent reshuffling of key personnel along with the introduction of some new talents once again points to a flourishing business and growth strategy for The LED Group. Mark Newton, who managed the UK SALES AND MARKETING team for over 6 years, has now moved to Sydney to become Managing Director of LED Group’s Australian division. The ROBUS brand share increased dramatically during Mark’s time in the UK and he is now relishing the new role in Australia. Following Mark’s move to Sydney, John Humphery has been appointed UK & IRELAND SALES DIRECTOR at the LED Group. John joined LED Group in 2006 as the South Eastern Regional Manager and was very successful throughout the business. John is now working closely with the Board of Directors and looks forward to working ever more closely with key accounts.

Verbatim introduces a range of high performance LED lamps with excellent colour rendering, designed to replace halogen lighting particularly for retail and hospitality use. With a minimum Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 95 and a broad white spectrum from 2700 to 4000K, the high CRI LED lamps ensure that colours and skin tones appear as natural as they would in daylight. The PAR16 GU10 lamps, delivering a ‘warm white’ colour temperature of 2700K, are available in 6W and 8.5W power ratings to replace 35W and 50W halogen bulbs respectively. They are ideal for hotels, restaurants, museums and conference centres. A short neck 14.5W PAR30 E27 lamp replaces a 75W halogen bulb typically used by retailers and joins the AR111 LED lamp, which offers 750 lumens output and an adapted short-form factor to aid retrofit use in shops.
