f anyone has ever told you that you have incredibly high standards then you are the Tivoli Victoria’s ideal guest. Te newest addition to the Tivoli collection,


Gabriela Albergaria, reach up towards the roof of the entrance hall. My partner and I were met by Angela


Martins, the hotel’s marketing director, who greeted us warmly and personally checked us into our Junior Suite. Te decoration of the room was as sophisticated as I had hoped that it would be and I was touched to see that the hotel’s chef, Bruno, had made us a chocolate box out of icing with the Waterfront logo on the front. Inside there was a variety of home- made truffles and was clear that no expense


had been spared. Tis special touch exemplifies the care and attention shown by the hotel staff to their guests. In need of refreshment after travelling, I step into the huge bathroom and run a bath, impressed by the separate ‘rain effect’ shower, which has the perfect intensity and is actually incredibly relaxing. From my bath I can see the in-mirror television, which is a lovely touch. Wrapping myself in a gorgeously soft bath robe I take a look around the room.
