ake a stab at how many destinations the ‘average Brit’ will visit between the ages of 18-75? According to Virgin Holidays, a company that knows a
thing or two about transporting people out to dreamy locations, the answer is an impressive 114 'exotic holidays’. Even if we shelve any polemic about what constitutes an ‘average Brit’ the ‘finding’ does suggest that holidays – and apparently Brits average two a year – represent one of the few mainstays in people’s lives. Where all else flowers, blooms and eventually fades, it seems the appeal of a holiday in exotic climes rarely dims. Looking at it another way, if people have less than 120 trips to look forward to in their lifetime every one needs to count and be unforgettable. Which is where, of course, a good agent can play a role and a top tour operator is essential. If travel is one of life’s defining constants then it is fitting to
