CLOUD CONTENT services provider Brightcove is at IBC for the first time, and is showcasing the company’s App Cloud Dual-Screen Solution for Apple TV. The new solution is said to enable media publishers to develop rich content apps for the iPhone and iPad that simultaneously control content, data and information presented on an HDTV while displaying synchronised content on the iPad or iPhone. The dual-screen solution leverages Apple’s AirPlay technology, which allows viewers to use applications that simultaneously present content, interactive options and data on both the touch device and an Apple TV. With Brightcove’s new App Cloud Dual Screen Solution for Apple TV, media publishers can, says the company, capitalise on the

It has two Fast Ethernet ports
that either allows control and video streaming to be separated or to aggregate both lines to increase the bandwidth available for transmission. It is also possible to include the bonded 3G/4G connections with hardwired Ethernet connections giving 10 links for resiliency and bandwidth. With two monitor screens, it allows the user to monitor the switchable video inputs, the video feedback (cue program from Studio) and the quality of locally encoded video. It also supports a separate bidirectional audio talkback channel. 1.A74
