There’s Nothing Like Australia gets second run Tourism Australia will launch its
refreshed There’s Nothing Like Australia campaign in the UK from mid-September. The A$10 million (UK) promotion,
backed by three airlines, will run through to the end of March 2013 via platforms including TV, trade and consumer media and digital/social networking vehicles. A new video and more interactive functionality on TA’s website are the key changes to TNLA, which first aired in 2010. A signature ad, which has already attracted over 250,000 views at TA's website (

New at Mossman A new $20-million eco-tourism
development at one of Australia’s World Heritage sites will open on August 1. The Mossman Gorge Centre in
Tropical North Queensland, located 77 kms north of Cairns, will operate a number of eco-shuttles into the gorge. Guests will be able to sign up for two Dreamtime Gorge walks that introduce them to the culture, spirituality and traditions of the Kuku Yalanji people and their unique connection to the land. They will be lead by interpretive Indigenous guides who will identify bush food sources.
