Star Clipper set for winter sales Tall ship specialist, Star Clippers, is
showcasing romantic sailing voyages in its 2013/14 sailing schedule. During the summer of 2013 all three
ships: the Star Clipper, Star Flyer and Royal Clipper will sail in Europe but for winter they will follow the sun with Royal Clipper and Star Clipper sailing the Caribbean, while Star Flyer is bound for the lush, forested coastlines of Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Highlights for winter will include a
seven-night Leeward Island cruises from St Maarten on Star Clipper from £864; a seven-night cruise of the Grenadines
ever known – the wettest June, the Diamond Jubilee, Euro 2012, a Brit in the Wimbledon finals, the Olympics and, of course, the global recession! There have been plenty of challenges and whilst all these factors have helped shape the travel market we still have much to celebrate within UK cruising. There have been a number of high-profile ship launches and refurbishments; new innovations and some tremendous events held by Cunard and P&O Cruises which have all given us things to cheer about and reasons to recognise the value of our sector. ACE, working with our partners,
from £980; seven nights sailing Costa Rica and Nicaragua on Star Flyer from £864 and a comprehensive 14-night Costa Rica cruise and tour from £3,299.

aims to raise the profile of cruising to the non-cruising public so the fifth National Cruise Week will run September 15-23. We are asking all ACE agents to hold an Afternoon Tea to ‘Get Britain Talking Cruise’. If we all play our part highlighting the value, quality and variety of the cruise experiences then as an industry we can convert some of those cruise prospects to regular cruisers. And that benefits us all.
