TBTC gets in a spin!

Former adviser to Tony Blair and renowned spin-doctor, Alastair Campbell, is the keynote speaker at The Business Travel Conference 2012. Campbell will give key insights into the global economy and Eurozone crisis and look at what's likely to happen to delegates’ travel spend in 2013, and, of course, will share some stories of his time at Downing Street. Appointed as Tony Blair's official

spokesman in 1994, Campbell is now a writer, communicator and strategist but remains best known for his role as the former British Prime Minister’s spokesman, press secretary and director of communications and strategy. He also worked for Labour, under Gordon

Brown, in the 2010 election campaign, as an informal advisor to forming a coalition to keep Labour in power. Still active in Labour politics, he now splits his time between writing, speaking, charitable fundraising, politics and campaigns. Campbell played a key role in the creation

of New Labour and the revival of Labour’s fortunes, and is now one of the party's most in-demand speakers at fundraising and motivational events. He has published a series of non-fiction

books based on his experiences, as well as a novel and highly-praised documentary material on mental health. He will be speaking on the second day of the conference, Tuesday October 23rd.
