Calgel have recently launched two new colours, available in 4g only.
Gunmetal (cg920s) and Sky Blue (cg921s) are the latest additions to Calgel’s vast collection. Both of the shades have an element of shimmer.

The fashion inspired True collection consists of six seasonal shades that all have a subtle hint of shimmer. The palette includes Bervin, a dusty light green, Cho, a yellow toned beige, Farah, an opaque light khaki-beige, Lotus, a dusty purple, Skylar, a medium blue and Tru, a red toned purple.
Designed to work hand in hand with the True collection, Fleck Effects comes in three shades, Chloe, Maisie and Opal and are ideal for creating a flecked effect.

Playful on the catwalk
Moschino used CND for their first Cheap and Chic London show.
Especially for the Autumn/Winter 2012/13 collection, custom blended opaque soft peach nails were created by Liza Smith using CND’s Creamy Cameo custom blended polish with Studio White.
The nail brief was specific with key looks and textures, aiming for a youthful yet playful look.
Liza and her team, Stephanie Staunton, Jane Wright and Jemma Smith pulled off the look on 33 models, flawlessly.

Dusseldorf crownswinners
Nail techs from across the world competed in the International Nail Championships held at Beauty International Dusseldorf, Germany last month.
In total 41 techs took part, after each had qualified for the contest by winning competitions in their home countries. Judges were looking for nail enhancements created with the most natural look, taking into account length, shape and smile line form.
Mariia Divova from Russia won first place in the Gel category, whilst Natalya Nazgaidze, also from Russia, was placed first in the Liquid & Powder category.

Ciaté at the Grammy’s
Adele graced the Grammy’s with perfectly polished nails, using Ciaté.
Her nails were polished by celebrity nail manicurist Mike Pocock in a ‘Louboutin’ style using Ciaté Paint Pot in Jewel on top (a silver with different shades of glitter throughout) and Ciaté Paint Pot in Mistress (a spot-on Louboutin shade of red) underneath.
