Ms Diva is owned and run by Aoife Durity who has LASH by Francesca AdvancedMasters certification. Aoife's salon is a fast growing business, and now not only offers training but also has distribution rights to sell LASH by Francesca to other professional technicians and students in her area.

Brush up on your fitness knowledge if you want to create a new revenue streamfor your salon or clients, that's according to Derek O Kelly, director at TheWaverley Academy, college of Hair, Beauty and Fitness.


"We've had an increasing number of enquiries fromtherapists,make-up artists and hairdressers wanting to incorporate fitness knowledge into their skills set," Derek told us.


"The advent of reality TV programmes has awakened the general public to the benefits


of exercise in their quest to look and feel beautiful, and it would seemthat they are looking for a one-stop-shop for all their wellness and beauty needs."


Derek adds: "Itmakes perfect sense, and could be a great opportunity for therapists and salons to innovate and introduce something totally new to theirmenu. It's definitely something we will be looking at in the comingmonths and hope to be able to bring a training product to themarket to meet the increased demands."
