UBISOFT enjoyed further success with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which holds onto the top spot of
the UK All Formats Chart. That’s despite a 35 per cent drop in sales.
The Tom Clancy shooter even rose a place in the PS3 charts, taking No.1 from Max Payne 3. The game is now the top seller on both Sony and Microsoft’s machines.
ROCKSTAR GAMES’ action sequel is also a non-mover in the All Formats Top 40, unaffected by a 39 per cent sales dip. It also stormed the PC chart, thanks to its release on that platform last Friday (June 1st).
EA saw three titles move up in the Top Ten, led by FIFA 12 – now at No.3. Other climbers included fellow football title FIFA Street – up one place to No.10 – and Battlefield 3(No.8), ending the shooter’s long absence from the Top Ten.
The slew of new releases from May 25th are still holding their positions well, with CAPCOM’s Dragon’s Dogmaat No.4 and CODEMASTERS’ Dirt Showdownat No.7.
There was little in the way of new releases, with SONY publishing the only title to debut in the Top 20. Vita shooter Resistance: Burning Skiestopped its individual format’s chart and took No.12 in the All Formats Top 40.
It far out-performed the franchise’s previous handheld outing, Resistance: Retribution for PSP, which failed to enter the Top 40 when it was released back in 2009.
Several titles re-entered the Top 40, including record- breaking title Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Zoo – which is still No.1 in the DS Full Price charts.
