 DAHON Two new staff join Dahon this month, with RUSSELL SNEED occupying the role of product director and German native KAI ZIMMER joining as a technical specialist. Sneed, who most recently worked as sales


manager for American Grass and Turf, has over 25 years of experience in the bicycle industry, including runs with the SAF Group, where he served as vice president, and Vancouver based FC. Joining the technical team behind Dahon, Zimmer will look after specifications and product support, as well as relaying feedback to the manufacturing source. Zimmer’s previous experience in the bicycle industry includes a run with Kona Bikes in Germany, as well as a period as a workshop manager for a prominent bicycle retailer in Dubai.


 POLAR BOTTLE Colorado-based Polar has brought two new appointments on board, taking its number of employees up to 34. MIKE GOLDBERG is taking on a sales


associate role, while MONTANA MARSDEN has become accounting manager. Goldberg has over six years experience in


retail and sales in the outdoor and advertising industries, including a recent stint with giantnerd.com, an online shopping community focused on outdoor gear. Meanwhile Marsden is to take on accounting duties at Polar, evaluating future business opportunities for Product Architects as a member of the in-house product development team.


 VOS MEDIA DUNCAN NEWBURY has now left VOS Media. IAN CHANDLER will be handling marketing duties for the event organiser in the near future. Newbury is planning to start his own ski, snowboard and summer mountain biking company – dubbed Chez Serre Chevalier – based in the French Alps.
