Bolstered with a robust litigation


and dispute resolution practice, in the last 10 years it has handled over 700 ship arrest matters in India and 50 arbitrations relating to shipbuilding, oil & gas exploration, charterparties in Hong Kong, India, London, Rotterdam and Singapore. The firm advises insurance


companies in marine insurance and reinsurance, hijacking, maritime frauds pollution liability, loss of profit and war risks and interacts with marine surveyors and P&I Clubs. The oil and gas and offshore


practice group has extensive knowledge of the industry and acts for various Indian and international rig and ship owners and advices them on tenders/ contracts with ONGC. The firm’s transport and logistics


practice group advises on all laws relating to trade of commodities, oils, metals in the international market
