The Bankruptcy/Liquidation / Restructuring Group is headed up by Ross McDonough who is an experienced practitioner being


admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 1994. Ross was recently named Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyer of the Year 2009 for the Cayman Islands in a poll conducted by World Finance Magazine. He has appeared as lead Counsel in numerous reported cases before the Grand Court, Court of Appeal and Privy Council including most recently In Re Strategic Turnaround Master Partnership Ltd and In Re Camulos Partners Offshore Ltd. Ross has also been instructed as an expert witness in Cayman Law in a number of proceedings before courts in other jurisdictions and is an active member of R3, the Insolvency Lawyers Association, COMBAR and the American Bankruptcy Institute
