COMMERCIALS 30

EDITOR/VFX There’s been a change at the top of the commercial producers’ favourite editors poll this year as Work’s Rich Orrick shifts from the number two spot he’s occupied for the last couple of years to take the top position on the back of work like the Fosters Suncream spot for Hungry Man’s Tim Bullock and Ringan Ledwidge’s After Hours Athletes for Puma and Droga 5. In second place on the editors poll is The Quarry’s Paul Watts who has cut spots like Chris Palmer’s T Mobile Wedding and Jonathan Glazer’s Last Tango in Compton for VW Polo. Speade’s Sam Sneade comes back into the editor’s top 10, taking third place on the back of spots like Eric Lynne’s John Lewis Christmas ad. And Stitch’s Leo King makes his debut on the editors’ 10 at number four. It’s another year at the top of the favourite vfx artist/colourists poll for MPC’s Jean-Clement Soret. The colourist has added his touch to many of the year’s biggest ads including Drench’s Cubehead and the John Lewis Christmas spot. Fellow MPC colourist Paul Harrison takes second position after coming in joint seventh last time and The Mill’s Seamus O’Kane similarly makes a big leap up the 10 moving from joint seventh to third.
