EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW NEWS LATEST FROM SHOW PR LOUISE MURPHY

Louise Murphy gives EHN readers a sneak peak at what will be going on at the UK’s premier hire event, which is taking place at the Ricoh Arena Coventry, on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 February 2012. The 2012 Executive Hire Show is looking good - in fact,

it’s looking amazing - and really is the one show in the UK exhibition calendar that you simply cannot afford to miss in 2012! The Main Hall was completely sold out by the end of September, and a Top Tier has been added to the Show, for light equipment, to meet the demand for stand space and has the potential to accommodate a further 40 stands. There are more exhibitors at this event than

there has been at previous shows, including hire visitors’ Top Ten ‘Must Have’ exhibitors, comprising JCB, Hilti, Youngman, Hire Supply Company, Higher Concept Software, Altrad Belle, Fairport, Makita, Volvo and Husqvarna, in that order. Just for good measure, we have the next two on the list as well, Pop-Up and Stihl. We’ve also attracted back the Top Three ‘Most Wanted Back’ exhibitors, Bosch, Camon and Wacker Neuson. Plant manufacturers are well represented with many of the leading suppliers exhibiting, including Ammann, Avant Tecno, Bomag, Doosan Infracore (still better known as Bobcat) and Takeuchi. A number of plant dealers will be also be exhibiting, including BTE Plant Sales, which will be showing ranges from Atlas Copco, Terex and Kubota. Shannon Plant will also be showing a wide range of products, including the company’s own new dumper. As the Show continues to grow, so does interest from new

exhibitors eager to meet our hire industry’s decision makers. This year’s list of debut exhibitors includes GenQuip, Jaama, Boss Cabins, APT Construction Services, Cemo Safe Storage, Mecc Alte and Moba, amongst others. Exhibitors, both old and new, are as excited as the Show Team about the event, and many are using the 2012 event as a launch platform for new products and services. I have been featuring many of the new launches on the Executive Hire Show website in the ‘Latest News’ section, please take a minute to have a look at www.executivehireshow.co.uk With the Show’s constant focus on new

products that meet the hire industry’s specific needs, the large Innovation Zone will retain centre stage in the event. Exhibitors have now been invited to submit details of relevant products to be considered for inclusion in the Zone. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of leading hirers and those

selected as finalists will be exhibited in the Zone at the Show. Steve McKenzie is on his travels again, already clocking up thousands of miles visiting hirers, to mobilise and excite them to attend the Show. As we go to press, he has already visited over 150 hire outlets. Visitor registration is also now open! Register in advance and you’ll save valuable time in February by avoiding the queues. In our January/February Show Preview issue, we will provide comprehensive editorial coverage of all the new products at the Show. Make sure you have Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 February 2012 in your diary and we look forward to seeing you at the Show.
