ruit of the Loomʼs Outdoor Fleece collection is made for the workplace. The garmentsʼ 100% polyester fleece fabric (300 gm/m2) is durable and pill-resistant, so they retain their smart, modern looks for longer.
The fabric is very warm, yet breathable, making each fleece ideal as an outer layer on dry days, or as a mid-layer in wet or especially cold weather. The breathability means that the garments are also great choices for occupations where people are required to move between indoor and outdoor workplaces. In addition, the polyester fleece is easy-care and quick drying – an important consideration for workers that launder their own uniforms – and provides a stable base for decoration.

There are four styles to choose from – three Menʼs designs and the new Lady-Fit Outdoor Fleece. The Menʼs Full Zip Fleece and Half Zip Fleece have raglan sleeves, cover stitching detail to the hem and shoulder seams, twin side pockets, self-coloured covered zips and elasticated draw cord and stopper at the hem. The Sleeveless Fleece is a workwear favourite, granting the wearer maximum freedom of movement – thanks to its generously cut armholes with self-coloured binding – while
keeping the bodyʼs core areas warm. All other features are the same as those on the sleeved Menʼs Outdoor Fleece styles. New for 2011 is the Lady-Fit Outdoor Fleece in the same polyester fabric. It has a shorter body and shaped side seams, and is a welcome and comfortable new option for female outdoor workers. The Menʼs Full Zip Fleece and Sleeveless Fleece are available in eight and six colours respectively. Both productsʼ palettes include bright orange and bright yellow colours, which are highly effective at raising workersʼ visibility. The fleeces are not marketed as hi-vis styles (they donʼt include retro-reflective tape); however, the brightly coloured fleece fabric makes them an ideal choice for occupations where enhanced visibility is desirable, but EU standard safety wear is unnecessary.

Practical choices offer warmth and comfort W
ithin the Henbury range, there are a number of garments that are durable and practical, ideal for use for the manual and outdoor workwear sector. The H400 and H401 65% polyester/35% cotton polos are washable up to 60 degrees. With excellent colour retention and a comprehensive colour choice they suit any corporate image.
The Henbury Microfleece is made from 100% polyester microfleece coated with an anti-pill treatment to prevent unsightly “bobbling”. As polyester famously retains its colour much more effectively than other fabrics our fleeces will retain their good looks longer. The tighter knit provides a greater barrier against the elements without feeling bulky or weighty.
Microfleeces are available for men and women in a range of styles and colours (H850/1, H852, H853, H855/6, H857).
For a lightweight inner layer, our H854 with its ¼ zip neck is ideal. With the added benefit of hidden side pockets it is practical for the workplace.
