WHITEWATER FUN AT AREA 47 Get set for a day of watery fun in the alpine sun at Area 47 – “Europe’s ultimate outdoor playground” in the Ötztal Valley – where you’ll don a neoprene suit and helmet for a whitewater river-rafting adventure*, and spend some time on the slides and other attractions of one of Europe’s newest and biggest water parks. 7. NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE & MUNICH You’re off to Germany, where a horse-drawn carriage takes you up to the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty’s castle – Neuschwanstein Castle, built in the late 1800s by Bavaria’s King Ludwig II – for a tour. Have lunch at a Gasthof en route to Munich for a free afternoon. Please join us for tonight’s farewell dinner in the historic Palaiskeller of your landmark Munich hotel, the Bayerischer Hof, from which you can easily explore more of this classic Bavarian city as you wish.
