3. CRUISE TO SICILY & VISIT TAORMINA Go ashore at Giardini-Naxos for a visit to Taormina, clinging to the cliffs above the Ionian Sea. Best known as a popular seaside resort, the island entices with views of Mount Etna and archaeological wonders from the 2nd century to the Middle Ages. See them on a stroll along the Corso Umberto through Old Town and take a guided tour of the ancient Greek Theatre. Sightsee as you wish or return to the ship. Meals BLD
4. LIPARI & THE FIERY LAVA OF STROMBOLI Drop anchor off Lipari and take a Zodiac ashore for guided exploration of local sights and an optional visit to the archaeological museum. Weather permitting, sail by volcanic Stromboli tonight to see a fiery nighttime show you’ll long remember. Meals BLD
5. TRAVEL THE AMALFI COAST TO RAVELLO Wake up to spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast. Tender to shore for a drive along the coast, stopping in the town of Amalfi for a guided walking tour and a visit to the 9th-century Duomo.
