Winning team… staff at Westfi eld Stratford City with the Park Mark award

It’s a double gold medal for the car park at Westfi eld Stratford City, as the facility at the gateway to the London Olympic Park picked up both a Park Mark award and a Secured by Design award. Westfi eld Stratford City is
the fi rst UK shopping centre to be presented with the Secured by Design award, demonstrating its focus on customer safety. T e brand new development
is the largest urban shopping centre in Europe and, in less than a year, will have the eyes of the world on it as thousands of people will make their way through the centre on their way to the Olympic Park. While Park Mark aims

Tottenham Hale Retail Park has received its fi rst Park Mark award after an inspection by Safer Parking Scheme development manager Graham Chapman and police assessor Eric Childs.
Facilities management company AEJ Management manages the car park, which

Maddock of the Metropolitan Police Service said: ‘We have worked closely with Westfi eld to reach this impressive achievement. It has raised the protective security bar for future major developments.’
Hale and hearty in north London

Shopping safely in Hampshire
UK Parking Control, a company with more than 25 year’s experience in the sector, has won multiple awards for the safety of its parking facilities across Hampshire. Mountbatten retail park in Romsey, Solatron retail park
in Farnborough, Chineham shopping centre in Basingstoke and Eastleigh’s Chestnut Avenue retail park are all managed by the parking company and following a recent inspection have all been awarded the Park Mark award.
