Our services – Autistic spectrum disorder

26 Partnerships in Care

National Service Directory

We are committed to maintaining contact between the patient and their family. We realise that such contact may be difficult. Our staff outreach to families to ensure that progress made in hospital is sustained in all family contacts.

The transition from one therapeutic environment to another can be particularly difficult for people with a diagnosis of ASD. In conjunction with all stakeholders in the patient’s care, we work very hard to ensure that any move is at the pace that the person can understand and tolerate. The independent advocacy services will support the patient during any move and where necessary hold us to account for decisions made.
