Learning disability services

We offer services for people with learning disabilities, across a range of provision from medium security to specialist community-based accommodation.

Our services provide accommodation, care and support for people with severe or moderate learning disabilities, who present with challenging behaviours. A proportion of those admitted to these services will have co-morbidities such as mental illnesses, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, other developmental disorders, personality disorders and substance misuse.

Accommodation is provided in single sex settings with on site or immediate access to recreation facilities. This maximises the potential for re-integration into the community.

Specialised residential services

Our residents often require a higher degree of support than is available in standard residential services, and have the opportunity for appropriate involvement in the community.

Our treatment programmes are organised within three main therapeutic domains:

• Treatment & offending behaviour • Recreation as therapy • Education and vocation
