A truly exciting opportunity in one of the UK’s leading data centre companies. Due to continued expansion a Senior Project Manager is required to lead the project management team delivering customer space, site expansions and refurbishments which will also include new builds and ensuring all budgets and deadlines are met.


In this key role, you must be well versed in both mechanical and electrical disciplines as you will be tasked with determining labour requirements and inspecting and reviewing projects, ensuring that all compliance and safety codes are met. Duties will include:-


• Determining appropriate construction installation methods for projects • Supporting design development to tender stage and assessment/approval of the tender list of both contractors and specialist suppliers


• Planning, organising, and directing systems installation • Monitoring and advising on all financial aspects to the project management team • Requisitioning supplies and materials to complete construction project • Ensuring full compliance with ISO certification including EHS requirements


As this is a new role and a key development stage for this department, we are ideally looking for someone with a degree in electrical engineering. A practical manager with experience of implementing project management processes and someone who is capable of establishing methodologies to set a solid foundation for the company’s continued growth.


To be considered for this position, you must also have extensive experience of on-site mechanical and electrical building services project management, excellent organisation skills and a proactive approach. Commercially astute and an excellent communicator are also key.
