This year’s conference programme includes great coverage of all the key areas our previous delegates have asked to see more of and also features many speakers you have requested to see, including the legendary Amy Africa!
One of our biggest coups was recruiting a heady mix of business leaders to form our revered Power Panel to open the ECMOD conference programme in style with the burning topic Where’s the Growth? This will see our “board” of outstanding sector luminaries enter into a not to be missed discussion and debate on the issues that are top of mind for everyone during these tough trading times, and sharing their own anecdotal experience and views.
They’ll consider whether we should be looking to open more stores, launch into other countries, test new channels to market, enter into JVs, invest more in data mining & CRM, step up use of social media, explore the potential of mcommerce, produce more catalogue editions, etc… all with the aim of not only fi nding where the top line growth opportunities are – but, importantly, where the profi table growth opportunity is.
They’ll also touch on those hidden areas in every business – even the most rigorously managed - where costs can be reduced and the savings cascade straight to the bottom line… without impacting headcount, service standards, or market reach… They’ll also share their own recent experience, including the ups and downs, and new initiatives that they’ve focused on during the past year or so.
Advance questions are invited for this as well as certain of our other conference sessions. You can fi nd details of how to submit them at
