It Q:

was certainly a family affair for the cover shoot of AKA Mom magazine - Jodie with her new fi ancé, her two children, Grandma attending for moral support, and each member of the team a family friend. Jodie Sweetin, most well-known for her adorable and witty performance as Stephanie Tanner in the long

running sitcom “Full House”, has matured and grown into a beautiful wife, working woman and of course, mother. She has surrounded herself with supportive and special friends and is open and candid about how important living a balanced life is in order to raise two children.

We sat down with Jodie for an interview and in a classic “Mom who does it all style”, she was looking after both Zoie (almost 3 year old) and Beatrix (7 months old) all while approving outfi ts and giving us a special glimpse into her new life as a Mother of two. Jodie is defi nitely AKA Mom’s idea of a “Modern Mom”, so we wanted to know how she makes it all happen, while keeping her style, poise, professionalism and most of all…her composure.

Jodie, your family is a great example of a modern day blended family, tell us how you make it all work?

A: Well it takes a lot of coordination (she laughs). We are really lucky that we work so well together and support each other. Morty’s a great partner.

Q: With the Birth of baby Beatrix, how have you changed? How has it changed your family?

A: We really try to include Zoie in everything and make sure that she feels important. It also takes a lot more planning to get out of the house. We used to only need one bag, and now we need a bag for Zoie, and she needs entertainment, a bag for Bea, and she needs nine diapers and a bottle. I’m always making sure that everybody is covered. After the fi rst month or two you just get in the rhythm of it.

Q: What advice would you give to Moms who are bringing a new addition to the family who already have children in the home?

A: The one thing that we found to be really helpful is to always make sure that when people come over to take pictures of the new baby, we say “oh, let’s get a picture of Zoie too”. We want to make sure that people are paying attention to her too
