Creating Communities
Holistically It is difficult to feel any certainty about what the future holds. Global climate change, economic turmoil, war, and media addiction have been the backdrop for a while now. What will come in the next fifty years? What is each person’s part in determining the course humans take in the future? How can people respond in local ways that are regenerative, building a future that creates rich, life affirming communities and an abundant vibrant natural world? Come to New Haven on Thursday, September 29 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. to join a talk with Mark Morey, a creative artist, visionary educator, and cultural engi- neer who designs regenerative holistic
communities with timeless native principles. Mr. Morey will describe his vision of creating regenerative communities that draw from the wisdom of natural world and ways of ancestral cultures. Learn how culture and nature are like two threads entwined and inseparable, why it is important to come into relationship and interdependence with the local ecosystem, and how to rediscover community resilience through build- ing deep interconnected relationships. Free child care will be available for children ages three and up.
